Tara S. Pellegrino was named General Counsel for Now Optics in January 2018. In this role, Pellegrino leads the strategic direction of the legal organization and operations, as well as manages the regulatory and compliance matters for the company. 

Pellegrino has broad expertise in business matters. Prior to joining Now Optics, she was Senior Counsel for Broad and Cassel (now known as Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough), where she supported the firm’s commercial litigation practice. 

She maintains a Martindale-Hubbell AV® Preeminent rating ‒ achieving the highest level of professional excellence by the Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™. With this distinction, she is a part of an elite group of approximately 10 percent of all attorneys. She was also named a “Rising Star” by Law & Politics magazine in its “Florida Super Lawyers” selections, as one of the “Top Up and Comers” by South Florida Legal Guide. Additionally, she is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County. Pellegrino holds a Juris Doctor from University of Miami School of Law and Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. 

Pelligrino is devoted to rescue animals. She is an active volunteer with several local organizations having adopted one of her own furry friends: an adorable dog, Chance.
